Hi everyone! As some of you already know I recently posted my bedroom reveal on instagram @hpm_interiors and I said that I would share some of my tips to making your bedroom feel fresh & new again! Well, the day is finally here...I have 3 inexpensive ways to switch up the vibe of your bedroom in no time!

#1: Mirrors! Mirrors are one of my favorite elements in any space. You can find really inexpensive ones from Target, HomeGoods/TJ Maxx, or even Facebook Marketplace which is where I actually found mine for my bedroom! I will add a picture below, but this mirror was only $50 and it was as if someone created it just for me because it was exactly what I was looking for -- One man's trash is another man's treasure, right! I'm just keeping it real here.

I also want to add that having a grand full body mirror is not only functional for the space, but such a statement piece as well! I found mine at HomeGoods for $150 which is 3x less than the one I had my eye on online - I honestly like this one even more!

Funny story about this mirror -- One of my girlfriends knew I was on the hunt for a full body mirror and she came across this one at HomeGoods, she FaceTimed me while in the store and I knew it right there - I had to have it! I grabbed my boyfriend and said, "Get in your truck, we're going to HomeGoods NOW." I think I scared him honestly...my HomeGoods girls know that those pieces don't last very long & I had to snag it before anyone else did! So, all thanks to you Jo (my bff) my vision was complete!

Moving on... See, I could talk hours!

#2: Lighting! Lighting is EVERYTHING in a room! It makes the biggest difference in my opinion. I actually found my chandelier while helping to move out my aunt and uncle from their home and noticed this gorgeous chandelier in the hallway. I asked if they were bringing it to the other house and they said, "No! Please take it." It was exactly what I was envisioning! So my advice when trying to re-vamp your bedroom on a low budget is to ask around! Go thrifting and check out some used items...You never know what you might find!

#3: Window Treatments! I love having some type of curtain or drapery in the bedroom if possible...Even if you prefer shades, I would also add some curtains for texture. Tip: Install your curtain rod(s) about 2-3 inches from your ceiling! This will make the room seem much bigger than it is. You should account for the length in curtains or drapery to reach the floor...This will immediately elongate the room and draw your eye up - It's my favorite little trick! Here's the link to my white, ruffle curtains!

These 3 items costed me under $350! Sprucing up your bedroom doesn't have to cost you a ridiculous amount of money - Just focus on the elements that mean the most!

If you decide to use any of these tips tag me in your photos @hpm_interiors on Instagram and FB! Sending everyone some motivation & creativity to make your bedrooms feel like new!
